Clips: Slocum Center

The Slocum Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Eugene, OR was built with an especially amicable relationship between the architect-builder and the client. The Neenan materials talk about achieving a “rhythm of wellness” and Hospital Administrator John Bauman told me about how successfully the design and the business plan enforce each other, all while improving the area’s ecology and having some fun with construction.
